What if I did not get a tax bill?

Bills are sent to the address of the last known owner by state law. The Tax Assessor's/Select Board’s Office updates property records according to deed transfers received from the Grafton County Registry of Deeds. Record changes from the Registry may take up to one to two months to reach our tax office. However, it is your responsibility, as the new/current owner, to make sure taxes are paid and to advise the Select Board’s office of changes to your mailing address in writing or email.
