Community/Library Building Committee
At the May 12, 2022 Town Meeting, voters approved Warrant Article 11 to develop construction ready plans for a proposed library/community center. The committee appointed by the Select Board was tasked to study and to have information available to present to voters at the 2023 town meeting for the proposed building to be located at 10 Groton Road (Tax Map 17, Lot 29).
Warrant Article 11 as voted and approved at the May 12, 2022 Town Meeting:
To see if the town will vote to raise and appropriate the sum of One Hundred Fifteen Thousand Dollars ($115,000) for the purposes of retaining an architect and other professionals to develop construction ready plans for a proposed Library/Community Center. This is a non-lapsing appropriation and shall not lapse until June 30, 2025 or until the project has been completed, whichever occurs first. (Majority Vote Required) Recommended by the Selectmen
